kids101-design is a design exhibition designed for innovative students who challenge the boundaries of every day materials. Following on the success of kids101-art, this exhibition showcases the talents of very creative students.
The exhibition was conceived by design teachers, children and their supporters in order to bring the world into their classroom. All of our talented children deserve recognition for the effort and resourcefulness they put into producing their original design pieces.
By putting art work into the kids101-design Exhibition, we are sharing the ingenuity of our children thus building and nurturing their confidence. We all want the best for our children and our children always want to try their best for us - we need to encourage them and inspire their imaginations. As they work hard to produce imaginative and resourceful design work, they deserve the recognition for their efforts.
This Exhibition is designed to appeal to students of all ages and to encourage them to display their work. It also a valuable resource for teachers who look for new ways of exploring and sharing a deeper understanding of the creative process, and the processes of teaching and learning. The resources are designed to stimulate a wider understanding of the contributions that design can bring to our rapidly changing world.
kids101-design has several unique features that allow schools pyramids to be linked together. Visitors to the Exhibition can get an overview of the areas' achievements in this field. The Exhibition has been created to attract students and their parents from the other schools in the Pyramid area. This site is the culmination of the experience, guidance and dedication of design teachers and their supporters.
kids101-design was created to meet the growing demands for displaying original design work produced by school children in the UK.
